Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Stuart, FL is seeking a Metallurgical Laboratory Technician for the 3rd shift to support quality and engineering in ensuring the performance and compliance of aerospace components. You will conduct metallurgical testing, process evaluation, and lab operations.

The role requires hands-on analysis of metals, sample prep, and collaboration across engineering and quality teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards of accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in metallurgical or materials testing lab.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
• ITAR/EAR regulations awareness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct microstructural analysis on gas turbine components.
• Analyze stainless steel, titanium, and nickel-based superalloys.
• Prepare metallurgical samples for microscopic examination.
• Perform hardness testing and furnace surveys.
• Maintain lab documentation and generate reports.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams.
