Job summary

Ferco Aerospace is seeking a Metal Painter for 2nd shift to paint aerospace brackets to strict company specifications. You will read and understand blueprints and schematics, apply primer and paint, and conduct quality checks to ensure parts meet customer requirements.

The role requires attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. On-the-job training is provided in a climate-controlled facility with benefits and a shift differential.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret specifications manuals or assembly blueprints and schematics to plan building or assembly operations.
• Great hand-eye coordination and attention to detail required.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Pass vision screens and meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Paint aerospace brackets with primer and paint per company specifications.
• Use RTV adhesive to attach rubber blankets to brackets.
• Perform quality control checks to verify conformity to specifications.
• Follow shift schedule and productivity standards.
