We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanisms group in Poway, CA supporting the development, qualification, and sustainment of unmanned aircraft.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in engineering with progressive experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering concepts, codes, and theory.
• Ability to develop and communicate new concepts and coordinate work phases.
• Able to lead teams and present technical results.

Responsibilities

• Design aircraft mechanisms interfacing flight controls and deployable systems.
• Analyze and resolve engineering problems and document findings.
• Lead a small team and serve as technical contact on projects.
• Support verification of mechanical solutions during build and flight tests.
