Job summary

X-Bow Systems is seeking a Mechanical Tooling Engineer to support solid rocket motor development programs. You will join a multi-disciplinary team responsible for design, analysis, test, and deployment of hardware, and contribute to master schedule adherence.

The role requires hands-on assembly, machining familiarity, and an ability to present at design reviews. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and US Person status under ITAR are required, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience with Solidworks CAD and PDM
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with manufacturing processes and machining
• Proficient at drafting and GD&T
• Hands-on assembly and troubleshooting
• Willing to work on the shop floor during prototypes
• US Person status under ITAR

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, analysis, test and deployment of hardware for solid rocket motor programs
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to address blockers and meet master schedule
• Perform hands-on assembly and integration on the shop floor
• Present slides at design reviews with internal or external customers
