Job summary

RTX in East Hartford, CT is seeking a Mechanical Engineering student or graduate to contribute to design and analysis for aerospace projects. You will create and modify mechanical designs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support build and teardown activities.

You will apply CAD tools like Unigraphics NX to develop models and drawings, read engineering drawings, and communicate technical topics to CIPT members. GPA 3.0 required; relocation eligibility may apply.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering and enrolled through the internship program.
• Experience with Unigraphics NX or similar CAD tools.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0

Responsibilities

• Create and modify mechanical designs to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions.
• Support build and teardown activities, ensuring designs are implemented correctly.
• Use CAD drawings and written instructions to develop models.
• Apply CAD tools to develop models and drawings (NX or similar).
• Work with engineering teams to help ensure project success.
