Job summary

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer to contribute to the production of sophisticated assemblies for Space and Sea applications in Windsor Locks, CT.

The role focuses on manufacturability, process development, and continuous improvement within an IPD team. Responsibilities include creating manufacturing methods, drafting assembly documentation, and supporting root-cause investigations and EH&S compliance, with an emphasis on Life Support and Thermal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Creo CAD or similar CAD modeling tools.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, machining, welding, and brazing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement mechanical manufacturing methods for hardware, ensuring readiness for production goals.
• Create manufacturing assembly documentation and tooling concepts for high-quality hardware assemblies.
• Provide technical guidance to internal teams and suppliers to ensure compliance with specs.
