Job summary

RTX is seeking Technical Interns to join multi-discipline teams developing and testing advanced surveillance and defense systems for land, sea, air, and space applications. You will contribute to concept development, prototyping, and design under experienced engineers’ guidance, with opportunities to present your work and gain hands-on experience.

Qualifications

Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or related STEM major and actively enrolled through the internship/co-op session.
Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship/co-op session.
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects

Responsibilities

Support for concept development and prototyping, detailed design and analysis, supplier support, build support, and test support.
Work under the guidance of a team lead to understand technical, schedule, and budget expectations for your tasking.
Collaborate with engineers from across all disciplines to achieve program and customer goals.
Receive skill-development training and technical support from Raytheon's engineering network.
Document and present your work as applicable.
