Job summary

RTX is seeking an engineering intern/co-op in Lenexa, KS for onsite work and hands-on learning across the full engineering lifecycle. You will partner with project engineers, electrical engineers, software/system engineers, and certification engineers from around the world, contributing to concept through certification and field support.

You will gain exposure to global stakeholders, regulatory matters, and opportunities to suggest product/process improvements while learning how Oxygen systems

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
• Siemens NX/Teamcenter experience and MS Office skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project engineers, electrical engineers, software/system engineers, certification engineers, and other project team members from around the world.
• Involved in all phases of the engineering processes from concept evaluation and proposal to design and development to qualification/certification and product field support.
• Participate in design reviews and lessons learned to ensure mechanical design maturity and troubleshoot challenges.
