Job summary

Allfast Fastening Systems LLC in City of Industry, CA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support design, development and manufacturing of aerospace fasteners in a high-volume environment.

You will plan R&D activities, work with SolidWorks, ERP systems, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable products on schedule. The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 6 years of experience, and on-site work at City of Industry facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Six years of related engineering experience in high-volume manufacturing, aerospace preferred.
• Minimum four years' experience using SolidWorks and drafting from engineering drawings.
• ERP experience and BOM creation capability.
• Proven experience in design for manufacturing and root cause analysis.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and communicate technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct R&D activities to introduce new products for manufacture.
• Conduct analytical studies to develop product design proposals.
• Coordinate manufacturing processes for new product development and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement methods to monitor project expenditures and progress.
• Identify opportunities for new fastener products to address market needs.
