Career Staffing Talent is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for an aerospace robotics role. You will own design from concept to production, performing SolidWorks modeling, FEA, and GD&T-driven engineering on real hardware deployed globally.

Expect rapid, high-ownership cycles in a hands-on environment with a senior team. The position emphasizes DFMA, strict quality, and close collaboration with electrical and software engineers to deliver precision electromechanical systems for aerospace

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience, aerospace robotics or automation.
• Hands-on aerospace robotics / industrial automation background.
• Advanced SolidWorks proficiency with complex assemblies.
• Rigorous GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and DFM/DFMA knowledge.
• Foundational engineering mechanics, materials science, fatigue prevention.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• US Citizenship or US Permanent Resident (ITAR/aerospace).

Responsibilities

• Lead design from SOW through prototypes to production handoff.
• Perform 3D modeling and assembly design in SolidWorks.
• Own prototyping, bench testing, and electromechanical validation.
• Optimize for manufacturability and assembly speed.
• Conduct FEA and dynamic simulations to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with electrical and software teams for integration.
• Produce precise drawings and BOMs for shops.
