Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Mechanical Engineer within the Boost Control System (BCS) IPT for the FBM program. You will collaborate across teams to develop, qualify and sustain mechanical control systems used during the missile boost phase.

The role involves representing the team with Navy partners and LM leadership, with opportunities for career growth and leadership on key components through design to production stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience interpreting complex mechanical design models/drawings.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Exposure to engineering project management, propulsion/rocketry, aerodynamics, mechanisms or fluids.

Responsibilities

• Researches, designs and develops mechanical products and systems for production, transmission and energy use.
• Represent the BCS IPT with Navy partners, LM leadership and suppliers.
• Lead hardware components and develop technical solutions across product life-cycle.
