Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution preferred.
• Experience in aerospace, pressure systems, high-reliability manufacturing, or related fields.
• Strong expertise in ASME Pressure Vessel Code and Piping Code requirements.
• Familiar with nondestructive testing methods; Acoustic Emission Testing strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create/revise 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks for aerospace pressure vessels, piping systems, tooling, and assemblies.
• Perform analyses per ASME codes and fatigue/fracture mechanics requirements; support regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with procurement, testing, and production in shop environments, including assembly and testing of final products.
• Travel up to 20% for supplier audits, customer meetings, and on-site field support.
