Job summary

Ondas Sentinel Technologies in Irvine, CA is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join the engineering team. You will create detailed CAD models, produce 2D drawings, and prepare documentation for airframe components and subsystems.

Proficiency in SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM, along with knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5, are essential. The role requires on-site work with travel to manufacturing and test sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM is required.
• Strong knowledge of 2D drafting standards and practices.
• Experience generating engineering documentation (BOMs, Work Instructions, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Package electrical, avionics, propulsion, and mechanical subsystems into airframe volumes.
• Create, release, and revise CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Prepare documentation such as Work Instructions, Acceptance Test Procedures, and BOMs.
