Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) is seeking a Mechanical Designer I–III to support AEDC operations at Arnold AFB, TN. The role involves producing 2-D/3-D CAD models, coordinating with engineers, and guiding drawing controls within a multidisciplinary team.

Open to internal and external candidates; U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain DoD clearance are required. Salaries are aligned to L06–L07 grades with hourly ranges and regular full-time expectations.

Qualifications

• Vocational training or two years of college with drafting/design relevance.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance.
• Security clearance and access requirements per AEDC policy.

Responsibilities

• Generate complex 2-D or 3-D CAD design models.
• Coordinate projects with engineers and designers.
• Coordinate jobsite visits to resolve problems and interpret drawings.
• Maintain and access job drawing files, records and controls.
