Job summary

A leading aerospace company in Plano, TX is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Specialist to engage in the design of aircraft structures and systems. Responsibilities include developing engineering drawings, leading design teams, and ensuring project requirements are met efficiently. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree and possess a strong background in Mechanical Design Engineering within the Aerospace sector, as well as CAD skills. US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with four years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering within Aerospace.
• Minimum 2 years CAD skills, preferably NX/Unigraphics.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design of parts, assemblies, and installations for aircraft structures.
• Lead design activities and coordinate with multiple departments.
• Review design approvals for detail parts and assemblies.
