Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the design, development and testing of aerospace products. You will use SolidWorks to create 3D CAD models, generate drawings and analysis reports in accordance with customer specs and applicable standards.

You will prepare qualification test plans and support FAA/RTCA DO160 compliant certification, while improving design processes. This role involves ECO/ECN handling and EPDM document releases on multi-project efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 4+ years in product design, development and testing for aerospace.
• Experience with interior aircraft components & systems design & development.
• SolidWorks experience is required; knowledge of FAA DO160 guidelines is noted.

Responsibilities

• Design & development of components, assemblies, and subsystems per specs.
• Create 3D CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks and generate analyses.
• Prepare qualification test plans and test reports for FAA/RTCA DO160.
• Improve design processes and implement best practices across projects.
• Review drawings per industry and company standards; manage ECO/ECN changes.
• Release drawings and documents in EPDM system.
• Develop proof-of-concept prototype test plans and conduct tests.
