The role emphasizes following SolidWorks guidelines, collaborating with engineers, and producing accurate drawings and model files for fabrication and assembly. A team-focused, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Qualificações

• 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
• 2-year degree with 2+ years of Mechanical Design experience, or 4+ years of experience.
• Experience drafting 3D CAD models and fabrication drawings in SolidWorks.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret design specs and schematics; draft accurate SolidWorks drawings.
• Create and maintain CAD models and detailed fabrication drawings.
• Collaborate with design engineers and product team to verify details.
• Support with design studies, tolerance analysis and checks.
• Coordinate with engineers for structural analysis and FEAs when needed.
• Track project time and maintain BOM accuracy.
