Job summary

Senior Aerospace SSP, a division of Senior plc, seeks an experienced CAD Drafter to design high‑pressure ducting systems for aerospace applications in the United States. This role focuses on CATIA V5 modeling, 2D/3D drawings, and Model Based Definition within DMU environments, with strong attention to GD&T and manufacturing feasibility.

Candidate should possess a relevant aerospace engineering degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) and CATIA V5 experience. Travel is less than 5%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years aerospace design and drafting experience, 6,000 hours in CATIA V5.
• Master’s degree with 2+ years aerospace design and drafting experience, 4,000 hours in CATIA V5.
• CATIA V5 courses strongly desired.
• ASME Y14.5 certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in 3D modeling in CATIA V5, creating sketch-based solids and assemblies.
• Use sheet metal forming and manufacturing knowledge to design parts.
• Create detailed drawings and 3D PDFs for components and assemblies.
• Create Model Based Definition (MBD) using the FTA workbench.
• Develop assembly BOMs and ensure GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
