Job summary

TE Connectivity in Fremont, CA seeks an Engineering Intern to support heat-shrink and wire/cable product engineering. You will assist with experiments, data collection, and collaboration across engineering, product, and operations to drive project delivery.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a BA/BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Plastics/Polymer Engineering, with prior internship experience or strong project work, and authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Pursuing or completed BA/BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Plastics/Polymer Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Preferably have prior internship experience or have completed a major project.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for heat-shrink as well as wire and cable products.
• Support development activities as part of a larger project, including organizing experiments, testing, and collating data.
• Work closely with Lead Engineers, Product Managers, Project Managers, and Operations to successfully deliver projects into operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
