Job summary

The Boeing Company in Oklahoma City is seeking a Materials and Processes (M&P) Electrical Engineer to support integrated product teams across multiple aircraft programs. You will help select materials, processes and standard parts for electrical/electronic boxes, assemblies and interconnect systems. This 1st-shift, onsite role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or work-related experience with a Master’s
• 1+ years of engineering experience in Aerospace industry
• ABET is the preferred accreditation standard

Responsibilities

• Provide input into control of EE PM&P used in design, fabrication and production of electrical/electronic boxes and interconnect systems
• Support designers in specification and process development for materials and processes for PCBs and LRUs
• Develop and execute M&P control plans and review subcontractor plans
• Review part/material usage in engineering documents for contractual compliance
• Support reduction of hazardous materials while maintaining product reliability
• Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure production meets M&P requirements
• Review subcontractor documentation for M&P compliance with suppliers
• Identify verification methods to obtain objective evidence for customers
• Validate that Parts, Materials and Processes meet intended applications
