Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (STEM).
  • 4+ years in materials/process engineering with emphasis on machining operations.
  • 2+ years with aluminum, steel, titanium and nickel aerospace alloys.
  • Hands‑on machining knowledge: grinding, milling, shot‑peening, EDM, CPM, non‑conventional machining.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and support in materials/process engineering, focusing on machining operations.
  • Support aerospace gas turbine engine products used for propulsion and auxiliary power.
  • Collaborate with machining suppliers and Honeywell engineering teams to deliver customer‑focused solutions.
  • Lead or participate in machining process audits and supplier development activities.
  • Report to Senior Engineering Manager and travel 10–20% nationally/internationally.
