Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, Inc. in Mentor, OH seeks a Materials Handler to track turbine engine parts through repair processes, stage and organize parts, and move items between departments.

The role provides extensive in-house training in a modern facility, with teamwork across production control, engineering, and shipping. Ideal candidates have at least one year in manufacturing, experience with skids and forklifts, and strong attention to detail, safety, and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• One year’s experience in a manufacturing environment or similar.
• Experience using skids, pallet jacks and forklifts/lift trucks.
• Ability to follow directions and read work instructions.
• Effective communication with team members and participation in training.

Responsibilities

• Track parts through repair processes and staging areas.
• Organize storage areas and verify part numbers and serial numbers.
• Assist shipping/receiving with delivering parts to couriers.
• Coordinate with production, engineering and control staff to maintain scheduling.
• Move parts between departments using appropriate handling methods.
• Use RFID tracking to identify parts and locations.
• Provide priority lists for departments and print 7/14 day receiving lists.
• Support document work, scrap coordination, and proper paperwork.
