Job summary

Pioneer Human Services is seeking a Manufacturing Planner II to join the Seattle, WA team. You will create production plans and routings to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining quality for aerospace parts.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in aerospace manufacturing, strong interpretation of drawings, and knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP and ITAR. Proficiency with MRP systems, routing optimization, and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• 5+ years aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in manufacturing processes, procedures, blue print interpretation, tolerances and equipment uses.
• Understanding of customer contracts/Purchase Orders.
• Knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, and ITAR.
• Excellent customer service required.
• Produce shop router per customer specifications and machine requirements including outside process.
• Microsoft Office and Excel spreadsheet knowledge required.
• Must communicate well and stay organized while multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Support the Production Control department by creating production planning and work center routings to deliver products on time and within quality specs.
• Develop manufacturing processes and instructions in the MRP system for aerospace parts.
• Interpret aerospace drawings and flow down special requirements to operations.
• Provide labor times and material cost estimates to aid decision making.
• Review purchase orders for latest revision, price, lead time and special requirements.
• Audit quality clauses and ensure information is available to produce or procure.
• Interface with customers, suppliers, programmers and floor supervisors on product configuration and quality.
• Adhere to BMS procedures and safety standards; comply with ISO/AS specifications.
• Load production plans into the MRP system and maintain routings.
