Cirrus is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern in Grand Forks, ND, to learn and support manufacturing engineering processes, methods, and tools under an experienced mentor. You will contribute to meaningful projects and assist production teams with daily manufacturing challenges, gaining hands-on experience in aerospace manufacturing and cross-functional collaboration.

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Junior or Senior).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Learn manufacturing engineering principles and best practices under an experienced mentor.
• Support production technicians with day-to-day manufacturing issues.
• Contribute to one or two defined projects focusing on safety, quality, delivery, or process improvement.
• Collect and analyze manufacturing data to support problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Support development and revision of work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
• Participate in process observations, validation activities, and improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams.
• Learn and apply Cirrus engineering tools and manufacturing technologies.
• Present project results and recommendations to leadership at internship end.
