Job summary

C/A Design is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our leadership team. You will optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and scale from prototype to full production in a high-precision machining environment.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical or industrial engineering background, 7+ years in engineering with AS9100, and 3+ years in leadership. You will drive Lean, Six Sigma initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and guide technical staff toward

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or similar
• Advanced degree highly desirable
• 7+ years in a dynamic engineering role within an AS9100 facility
• 3+ years in an Engineering leadership role with continuous improvement focus
• Strong knowledge of high-precision machining and programming
• Excellent project management and delegation能力

Responsibilities

• Strive towards a culture of proactive safety.
• Coordinate with department heads (R&D, quality, supply chain, operations) to align objectives.
• Oversee production processes and maintain process documentation for quality/regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale processes from prototype to full production.
• Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement to enhance efficiency.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance production capabilities and adopt new technologies.
• Liaise with vendors to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
• Analyze production metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Communicate updates to product managers and manufacturing leadership.
