Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in South Bend, IN is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team of about 12 Manufacturing Engineers. You will drive daily operations, process improvements, and strategic initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.

You will collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Engineering to ensure safety, compliance, and on-time delivery, while mentoring engineers and shaping long-term manufacturing strategies.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of manufacturing engineering or related experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to solve complex manufacturing challenges in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers and drive performance.
• Support day-to-day manufacturing operations and resolve issues.
• Deliver continuous improvement projects to increase throughput and quality.
• Own process development, industrialization, and standard work.
• Develop work instructions and training materials.
• Collaborate across Quality, Operations, Product Engineering, and Supply Chain.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
