Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in South Bend, Indiana, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers and oversee daily operations at the South Bend site.

Responsibilities include driving continuous improvement, coordinating with Quality and Production teams, and leading projects that improve safety, quality, cost, and throughput. Requires strong leadership and aerospace manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of manufacturing engineering, operations engineering, industrial engineering, or related manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading manufacturing process improvements within a production environment.
• Experience leading, supervising, or developing engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, process development, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to solve complex manufacturing and operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a High-Performing Engineering Team and drive priorities, resources, and development.
• Provide engineering leadership for day-to-day production activities and rapid issue resolution.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma and operational excellence initiatives to improve throughput and quality.
• Develop, sustain and improve manufacturing methods, processes, and standards.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Product Engineering and other teams to achieve goals.
