Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor in Simi Valley to lead manufacturing engineering activities for sustaining and new products.

The role focuses on Lean/Six Sigma driven improvements, task management, and collaboration with program managers to meet schedule, cost, and quality targets. You will guide teams on process development, establish standard hours and workflows, and contribute to design for manufacturability while coordinating with cross-functional groups

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in industrial, mechanical, or related field.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies familiarity.
• 2+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with production planning, lean tooling, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Support development and improvement of manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma to reduce lead time and improve productivity.
• Analyze yields, capacity, cost, and process capability for improvement projects.
• Develop work instructions, assembly procedures, and process documentation.
