Job summary

Blue Origin in Huntsville, Alabama is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to define and optimize rocket engine assembly processes. The successful candidate will translate engineering requirements into effective work instructions and manage daily production activities to ensure quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years direct manufacturing and manufacturing engineering experience.
• Extensive prior experience in high-rate assembly lines for aerospace and/or automotive.
• Ability to develop processes compliant to industry quality systems such as AS9100.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, implement, optimize and own rocket engine assembly, integration, and test processes.
• Translate engineering intent into fully functional hardware by developing manufacturing work instructions.
• Conduct DFMA and PFMEA studies to strengthen feedback between design and build.
