The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or related field and 3+ years of production experience, with familiarity in punch press operations, tooling, and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
• Experience with punch press operations, metal stamping, or related processes.
• Experience with manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and process improvements.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience working directly with production teams and manufacturing equipment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
• Provide engineering support for punch press operations and other manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with operators to identify solutions.
• Design, modify, and improve manufacturing tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions, process documentation, and production routings.
• Identify opportunities to reduce scrap, improve cycle times, and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and corrective action activities.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
• Assist with equipment improvements, tooling evaluations, and new manufacturing processes.
