Job summary

ACE Clearwater Enterprises in Southern California seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to plan, direct and coordinate manufacturing projects in a build-to-order environment, interfacing with customers, engineers and shop floor staff to determine effective methods.

You will design processes, develop BOMs, provide RFQ estimates, analyze workloads and costs, and work with planning and design teams to ensure efficient production and accurate schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in a job-shop environment and manufacturing planning is preferred.
• Ability to develop and analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing work instructions.
• Experience interfacing with customers, engineers, and shop floor personnel.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop processes in a job-shop environment, including tooling requirements for formed, machined and welded components.
• Develop, analyze and improve BOMs, manufacturing planning and work instructions.
• Interface with customers on part requirements and specifications.
• Provide job estimates for RFQs and analyze workforce utilization for maximum efficiency.
• Collaborate with planning and design staff to ensure efficient production methods and accurate scheduling.
