Job summary

GE Aerospace in Madisonville, KY is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to contribute to the production of advanced jet engines and components. You will manage production and prototype tool operations, drive lean improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on cycle time reduction and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and experience with GD&T and controls such as Fanuc, Haas, or Siemens.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of Manufacturing and/or Manufacturing Engineering Specialist experience).

Responsibilities

• Production and prototype Tool Management
• Standard Work development and/or improvements
• Machine programming and program offsets for production machines
• Cycle time Analysis for process improvements using Lean strategies
• Driving Root Cause and Corrective Actions for your production lines
• Daily Management on providing information concerning your production lines performance
• Integrates with other teams and contributes to the area
• Resolve issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures
