Job summary

ALIGN PRECISION in Chandler, AZ is seeking an experienced engineer to conceive, investigate, and implement tools and processes to enhance safety, reliability, capacity, and cost efficiency. You will lead and participate in multiple project teams, develop work instructions, and support production through documentation and procedure development.

Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing or related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Create process plans for CNC machining and assembly operations in an ERP system.
Evaluate and recommend tools and equipment to support manufacturing.
Perform root cause corrective action to improve production.
Train and mentor other engineers and planners.
Prioritize workflow to meet customer schedules and delivery dates.
Incorporate Lean Manufacturing initiatives into production.
Provide liaison support for the production floor via work instructions and BOM changes.
Ensure compliance with aerospace specifications and changes.
