Job summary

Kaney, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve the manufacture of existing and new products. You will apply lean manufacturing principles to enhance safety, quality, cost, and delivery across the organization.

Responsibilities include developing methods, time standards, cost analyses, and tooling designs; maintaining process documentation; and mentoring shop-floor personnel while coordinating with managers and vendors to ensure current production methods are effective.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering or equivalent with 3–5 years aerospace machining/assembly experience.
• Strong knowledge of blueprints and GD&T required.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing methods and cost analyses to optimize staff and facility utilization.
• Apply lean principles to improve safety, quality, cost and delivery.
• Mentor shop-floor personnel in new processes and communicate with management.
