Job summary

Dow Aero in Oklahoma City seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to provide daily engineering support for manufacturing and repair operations, helping resolve shop issues and streamline processes. You will also design tooling and shop aids to support operations.

The role requires a B.S. degree in mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering and the ability to read and interpret engineering data, with awareness of QMS/AS9100 and FAA/EASA regulations.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in mechanical, industrial or manufacturing engineering or similar engineering degree.
• Ability to read, interpret and understand engineering and technical data.
• Familiar with manufacturing processes (welding, machining, wiring, etc.).
• Knowledge of industry/regulatory standards (QMS, AS9100, FAA/EASA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering support to the operations floor.
• Supports startup operations of new manufacturing/repair lines and daily engineering for existing processes.
• Resolves errors in engineering data with internal and external parties.
• Identifies where work instructions or documents need updates to improve quality, reduce cost, and optimize build sequence.
