Job summary

Heilind Electronics is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support development, production, and continuous improvement of cable and electronic assembly products. You will develop manufacturing documentation and processes in line with AS9100C, J STD 001, MIL STD 2042, and IPC WHMA A 620 Class 3 requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will also drive process improvements, develop build instructions, and lead training to ensure high-quality production and successful product

Qualifications

Lean manufacturing experience to drive process improvements.
Experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and quality.

Responsibilities

Oversee development of manufacturing methods, processes, and build instructions.
Perform design reviews to ready new products for manufacturing and production.
Develop and maintain assembly routers for copper, coax, and fiber cable and electronic assemblies.
Troubleshoot assembly problems, test failures, and tooling issues on the production floor.
Develop manufacturing training plans to ensure build competency and adherence to quality standards.
Support tooling, molding, fixturing, and harness board development and validation.
