Jobot in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Aerospace) to translate complex drawings into repeatable manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with production and quality teams to develop process plans, improve tooling, and troubleshoot issues on an on-site basis.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience, a BS in engineering, and proficiency in SolidWorks (Mastercam preferred).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
• Ability to translate engineering drawings into manufacturable processes.
• Experience supporting aerospace fabrication, machining, welding and forming.

Responsabilités

• Create detailed work instructions, travelers, setup sheets, process plans and routers.
• Design and validate machining processes for aerospace fabrications and assemblies.
• Develop tooling solutions including fixtures, workholding, gauges and cutting tools.
• Review drawings for manufacturability and suggest process improvements.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and quality issues with cross-functional teams.
• Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Improve process consistency, production efficiency and product quality.
• Maintain manufacturing documentation and update process changes.
• Ensure processes meet aerospace customer specifications.
