Job summary

AeroTEC's Flight Test Center in Moses Lake seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to design tooling, fixtures, and processes to support manufacturing and modification activities for flight test and wind tunnel models.

In this role you will collaborate with design engineers, purchasing, and machine operators to plan operations, sequence jobs, and ensure high-quality, cost-effective production. This position requires initiative and hands-on support across fabrication, installation, and wiring tasks.

Qualifications

• Requires 4-year engineering degree and aerospace manufacturing knowledge.
• Experience with multi-axis machining and flight hardware fabrication.
• Strong understanding of quality systems, safety, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design engineers to optimize part manufacturability.
• Plan sequences of operations and tooling for machining and assembly.
• Order materials, tooling, and coordinate with shop floor.
• Provide hands-on support for wiring, assembly, and flight-test prep.
• Ensure EH&S compliance and maintain process documentation.
