Castelion Corporation in Torrance, CA is seeking a production engineer to lead day-to-day manufacturing and optimize bonded assemblies across Castelion products. You will develop processes to reach production rates of thousands of units per year, create build instructions and test procedures, and collaborate with supply chain on supplier development and DFx reviews.

Travel up to 1 week per month may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing, fabrication, assembly or testing experience or heavy involvement in extracurricular design teams at the university level.

Responsabilités

• Lead day to day production and process optimization of bonded assemblies across Castelion products.
• Develop process and factory design to transition from development to production rates of thousands of units per year.
• Develop and refine process documentation including build instructions, test procedures, safety standards, and mBOMs.
• Create, maintain and communicate detailed plans and schedules.
• Work closely with supply chain to develop new and existing suppliers.
• Design and validate tooling.
• Participate in design reviews to drive design for manufacturing (DFM).
