Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the 2nd Shift in Windsor Locks, CT. You will support on-the-floor manufacturing of critical aerospace hardware for life support and thermal control systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production.

This role emphasizes hands-on problem-solving, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ongoing process improvements. The ideal candidate has a STEM degree and proven experience in manufacturing, with familiarity in

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (engineering preferred).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience supporting mechanical production and assembly.

Responsibilities

Develop, refine, and maintain mechanical manufacturing methods used in production environments.
Create and update detailed manufacturing assembly instructions for technicians and production personnel.
Provide hands-on engineering support to production operators and lab teams during hardware assembly activities.
Ensure manufacturing processes comply with EH&S and quality requirements.
Investigate and resolve assembly and manufacturing issues as they arise and identify opportunities to improve build quality and efficiency.
