As an Aerospace Management Systems Auditor, you will be responsible for delivering BSI’s audit services to assigned clients in accordance with all BSI, scheme, and regulatory requirements to ensure timely, cost-effective service delivery that satisfies our customer needs. The individual will conduct various types of audits.

To be considered for this role, it is mandatory for you to have completed and passed the AATT 9100 Lead Auditor Course and Exams (Application and Knowledge), plus a minimum of 4 years work experience in the relevant industry within the past 10 years to meet the BS EN 9104-003 requirements*.

We have several of these positions available based in the locations advertised to accommodate the growing demand of the business. These are remote contract positions with extensive travel (95-100%). You must live close to a major airport with the ability to travel weekly to our clients.

*If you have not passed the AATT 9100 exams but fulfill the work experience requirements above, you may consider our Aerospace Assessor positions, where we provide pathways for you to complete training and exams to achieve the qualified Lead Auditor status.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

1. Deliver AS9100 and ISO9001 audits to clients.
2. Prepare assessment reports and deliver findings to ensure client understanding and clear corrective action guidance.
3. Recommend issuing, re-issuing, or withdrawal of certificates following BSI policies and procedures.
4. Maintain account responsibility and ensure effective partnership and account growth.
5. Lead assessment teams, ensuring team members are well-briefed and relationships are maintained with clients and within the team.
6. Coordinate client contact, scheduling visits, planning assessments, travel arrangements, conducting assessments, and managing results.
7. Attend training and follow all BSI procedures and policies for client management, office management, equipment use, and communication.
8. Monitor client accounts to ensure proper record-keeping, visit cycles, invoicing, and client satisfaction.
9. Lead teams and mentor colleagues as needed to meet business objectives.
10. Perform any other duties required to support assessment delivery.

To be successful in this role, you have:

• Completed and passed AATT 9100 Course & Exams (Application and Knowledge)
• At least 4 years of relevant industrial work experience in the past 10 years
• 9100 AEA registered in OASIS (highly desirable)
• College degree (AA or higher) or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of management systems auditing practices
• High integrity, ability to appreciate diverse perspectives, fostering an inclusive, ethical environment
• Strong business acumen and customer focus
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing travel schedules
• Excellent communication and time management skills

The annual salary ranges from $98,400 to $123,860, based on experience, education, location, and internal considerations.
