As an Aerospace Management Systems Auditor, you will be responsible for delivering BSI’s audit services to assigned clients in accordance with all BSI, scheme, and regulatory requirements to assure timely, cost-effective service delivery that meets our customer needs. The individual will conduct various types of audits.

To be considered for this role, it is mandatory to have completed and passed the AATT 9100 Lead Auditor Course and Exams (Application and Knowledge), plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant industry work experience in the past 10 years to meet BS EN 9104-003 requirements*.

We have several positions available based in the locations advertised to accommodate growing demand. These are remote contract positions with extensive travel (95-100%). You must live near a major airport and be able to travel weekly to clients.

*If you haven't passed the AATT 9100 exams but meet the work experience criteria, consider our Aerospace Assessor positions, where we provide pathways for training and exams to achieve Lead Auditor status.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Deliver AS9100 and ISO9001 audits to clients.
• Prepare assessment reports and communicate findings to clients, including corrective actions.
• Recommend issuing, re-issuing, or withdrawing certificates per policies and timelines.
• Maintain account responsibility and ensure excellent service delivery and account growth.
• Lead assessment teams, ensuring quality and fostering relationships with clients and team members.
• Manage client contact, scheduling, planning, travel, assessments, and reporting.
• Attend training and follow all procedures, policies, and communication protocols within BSI.
• Monitor client accounts to ensure proper record-keeping, visit cycles, invoicing, and satisfaction.
• Lead and mentor team members as needed.
• Perform other duties to meet assessment delivery objectives.

To be successful, you should have:

• Passed AATT 9100 Lead Auditor Course & Exams.
• At least 4 years of relevant industrial experience in the last 10 years.
• High-level knowledge of management systems auditing practices.
• Strong integrity, respect for diversity, and ethical standards.
• Business acumen and customer-focused mindset.
• Flexibility to adapt to travel schedules.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
