Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace in Orange City, IA is hiring a Maintenance Technician to care for facilities and manufacturing equipment, ensuring they operate at peak availability.

You will perform preventative maintenance on schedule, troubleshoot electrical and control systems, coordinate with production to minimize downtime, ensure regulatory and safety compliance, and work with contractors on installations and startups.

Qualifications

• Ability to climb ladders and operate hand & power tools.
• Flexibility to alter work schedule including nights, weekends, and on call as needed.
• Able to work independently without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on equipment to a defined schedule.
• Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues with equipment and SCADA system.
• Coordinate work with production scheduling to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all equipment and facilities comply with OSHA, ANSI, UL, NFPA and customer specs.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors as needed.
• Provide accurate time estimates to production management on maintenance functions.
• Maintain spare parts inventory levels and reorder spares as consumed.
• Install, relocate, facilitate and startup equipment as required.
