Job summary

Parker Aerospace, part of Parker Hannifin Corporation, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic (Aerospace) with entry- to mid-level experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment. You will support hydraulic systems, production equipment, and facility machinery, performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, and working with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and ensure safe operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have forklift certification and be proficient with moving large equipment.
• Complete a formal training or apprenticeship program in a related field such as mechanical, facilities (carpentry, plumbing and HVAC), electrical, electronic, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems or have equivalent experience.
• Requires general knowledge of codes and regulations related to equipment and facilities.
• Knowledge of shop math and precision measuring equipment
• Vacuum Furnace, CNC, PLC (Program Logic Computer), X-Ray experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain production manufacturing equipment.
• Inspect equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties, per manufacturer's specifications.
• Diagnose basic equipment malfunctions and makes repairs or adjustments efficiently.
• Follow written instructions, sketches and documents.
• Use hand and power tools as required.
• Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.
• Work under direct oversight.
