Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Cudahy, CA, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for 2nd shift (1:30pm–10:00pm) to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The role offers heavy overtime, a comprehensive benefits package, and a quarterly bonus program.

You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, perform preventative maintenance, and work on fabrication projects using a lathe/mill and welding equipment. HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• HS diploma or GED required; relevant experience considered in lieu of diploma.
• Experience with PLCs and VFDs preferred.
• Mig and Stick welding experience.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of electrical testing equipment and standard hand tools.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot & repair electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic equipment.
• Address safety-related work orders as a priority.
• Perform scheduled preventive/predictive maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Handle fabrication projects using lathe/mill and welding equipment.
• Able to work overtime and weekends.
