Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) has opened a new aerospace manufacturing site in Mendota Heights, MN, and is hiring to launch operations around automated magnesium casting. You will help define processes, operate low‑pressure casting, prepare molds, and document charges while joining a safety‑minded, collaborative team.

Competenze

• Experience in aerospace, metals manufacturing, casting, machining, or related technical fields.
• Experience with magnesium or lightweight alloys is a plus.
• Commitment to safety, precision, and high-quality output.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt.

Mansioni

• Starts, stops, and monitors automated low pressure casting processes.
• Prepares molds and casting unit for casting process.
• Creates charges for crucibles based on weight and collects information.
• Cleans crucibles, tools, and equipment.
• Follows formulas and procedures to ensure consistent metal properties for casting.
• Operates hoist and pallet jacks/forks safely.
• Runs wheelabrator and other equipment as needed.
• Keeps accurate time and job records.
• Acquire additional certifications and credentials as required for work or career development.
