Job summary

PROENERGY is seeking skilled machinists to operate CNC and manual machines, performing repair work on Jet Engine Aerospace parts or tooling based on drawings and instructions. Training will be provided for specific machines as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma with a technical trade degree or machinist apprenticeship, fluent English, and US work authorization. Pre-employment screening includes drug testing and background checks; location is Sedalia, MO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or technical trade degree or completion of machinist apprenticeship; OJT acceptable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
• U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Set up tools (edge finders, indicators, dial gauges) and perform setups on manual and CNC machines.
• Use measuring equipment to verify conformance with quality requirements.
• Review and interpret complex work instructions, processes, and blueprints; ask clarifying questions as needed.
• Plan and carry out simple to complex projects from start to finish.
• Maintain machine and operator conformance of production parts.
• Communicate discrepancies and non-conformances to the supervisor.
• Operate various CNC and manual machines to repair aerospace parts or create tooling as directed.
