Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Burbank, CA is seeking a General Labor/Machine Operator for a full-time, temp-to-hire role. Shift is Monday through Friday, day hours from 6:00am to 2:30pm with a pay range of $18–$23 per hour depending on experience.

The position involves basic setup and operation of machines, hand tools, and pneumatic tools to deburr, slot, drill, and cut aluminum parts for aerospace-grade hinges using a proprietary drilling technique.

Qualifications

• Previous machine shop experience preferred.
• Familiarity with plant tools and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Must be able to work OT as required.
• Must be punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Clock on and off jobs accurately in an electronic clocking system.
• Read and understand manufacturing orders.
• Use various measuring equipment to verify accuracy.
• Operate various tooling fixtures and machines, saws, grinders, drills, belt sanders, slotters, and shears.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Log and record readings for equipment and procedures.
