TAT Technologies' Tulsa site serves as a center of excellence for heat transfer manufacturing and repair. We seek an experienced Machine Shop Supervisor to lead machinists and shop personnel, ensure schedules, uphold quality, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in machine shops, 2+ years in leadership, and strong knowledge of CNC/manual machining, tooling, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with preference for advanced machining certs.
• 5+ years machine shop experience in aerospace/manufacturing/MRO environments.
• 2+ years leadership/supervisory experience.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma preferred.
• Knowledge of AS9100/ISO quality standards and repair station requirements.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with manufacturing quality systems and inspection requirements.
• Proficient in MS Office and shop software systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise machinists, CNC operators, and shop staff daily.
• Coordinate workload, priorities, and schedules to meet delivery.
• Design and maintain in-house tooling and fixtures.
• Monitor workflow, quality, and efficiency metrics.
• Train and mentor team; enforce safety and discipline.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety and aerospace standards.
• Review engineering drawings and repair documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Supply Chain.
