Job summary

Amratec Engineering in Torrance, CA is seeking a full-time on-site Aerospace Machined Parts Inspector responsible for dimensional and visual inspection of machined aerospace components, plates, and assemblies to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and industry standards.

You will use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs; read CAD models with GD&T; document results; and support incoming, in-process, and final inspection while upholding safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and aerospace part inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD models and drawings with GD&T.
• Knowledge of inspection tools and shop-floor instrumentation.
• Experience with aerospace quality systems and document control.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and collaboration skills.
• Relevant education or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspection of machined aerospace parts and assemblies.
• Review engineering drawings and CAD models to verify tolerances.
• Document inspection results and nonconformances clearly.
• Support incoming, in-process, and final inspections as needed.
• Maintain inspection records and support continuous improvement.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
